This is the third and probably the last summer “All-Backyard” project for 2019 – all data, Ha, S-II, O-III and R/G/B are imaged from my bortle class 9 backyard over 12 nights. The amount of data is about the same as my previous project. But the seeing over these nights were not good at all. I can see the mean values from light sub-frames vary from 20%-30%.
This time, PixInsight was not used for the color blending. Instead, the color combination is done in Photoshop. I am pretty thrilled about how easy this way is – the result changes in real-time when the scroll-bars is moving! Very efficient and instinctive.
